A lake is Big Water when its cited acreage is 1,000 acres or more.
15 of the 100 lakes are Big Water. Paddle 10 of them for the Big Water 10 milestone. Wind builds over large open water; plan crossings, stay near shore when it picks up, and check the forecast before you launch.
